Happy post-Labor Day to all! We’ve officially turned the corner from summer into fall and Pumpkin Spice lattes are already flying out of coffee shops. October 23 is right around the corner and more than 650 PRINTING United exhibitors are excitedly counting down to the new show debut in Dallas. These cutting-edge companies are lining up a showcase like you wouldn’t believe. Many technologies are being unveiled; many others are new product versions; and so many are being shown live on the floor. Among them are…
Inkcups is displaying a range of machines at PRINTING United in booth 2011, including a show debut of its new ICN-200 pad printer. This machine produces high-quality 1-color prints on large items up to 11.7” tall, including injection-molded plastics, industrial parts, and appliances. The ICN-200 plate accommodates multiple images for smaller parts and utilizes a 200 mm ink cup, 11.8-inch pad stroke length, and can print an image size of up to 7.48” in diameter. Stay tuned for more news from Inkcups, including a world premiere unveiling!
S-One (booth 6810) is showing its new-to-market self-adhesive transparent textile for window graphics, Squid, which offers a unique effect for high-end retail, hospitality, and corporate environments. It can be used to display messaging, reduce glare and heat from the sun, and create privacy for meeting rooms. The UV and eco-solvent compatible material is treated with an antibacterial, it trims easily, and goes up with a simple dry installation technique. S-One is the U.S. distribution partner for Squid. Samples will be shown in the booth.
MCS is introducing the MCS Condor 250 process color inkjet system at the show in booth 11354. This affordable read and print solution for process color is ideal for read and print on high-speed inserters or as a stand-alone unit. The technology can process color imaging on envelopes up to 16,000pph (#10 envelopes) at an economical price point at less than $100k.
GTI is showing its new MiniMatcher-2436e at PRINTING United in booth 11447. This technology is an affordable, easy-to-use, mid-size, multi-source desktop viewing booth. The MM-2436e has a viewing area of 22.75” high by 36” wide by 23” deep. It includes five light sources: daylight, store light, home light, Ultraviolet, and an optional source. The product also has a daylight timer and a push button control that confirms which source is selected. To assist with metamerism testing, the MM-2436e provides one touch automatic light source sequencing. This allows the user to program a set of light sources that will automatically sequence for a fixed period of time.
