This week on Wide-Format Weekly, we explore how AI is impacting every facet of print businesses; Dave Leskusky, president of PRINTING United Alliance talks about the ASI Pavilion that will be at at the 2026 Expo; we discuss getting better color from AI art; and we welcome Derrick Nelloms as vice president of the Alliance.

To say the opening of The PRINTING United Expo was a relief is surely an understatement. To describe it as a sound, it might be the rising crescendo of a jet engine, in the middle of a stadium, at the very moment thousands of voices express an exuberant, relieved sigh.

PRINTING United Alliance CEO Ford Bowers and President Dave Leskusky discuss the upcoming PRINTING United Expo in Las Vegas. Only nine weeks away, the Expo is exceeding expectations for registrations as nearly every major OEM in the printing industry will show solutions across a range of market segments, including commercial, in-plant, apparel, packaging, wide-format, industrial, mailing and fulfillment.

Dave Leskusky has been appointed president of PRINTING United Alliance. Leskusky has successfully overseen operations at NAPCO Media, which melded with the Alliance in 2019. He will retain his role in leading NAPCO Media, and will support Alliance efforts to further streamline the resources and services being offered.
