He was there to find replacements for three wide-format roll printers and a flatbed. But he also made a few unexpected discoveries on the show floor.

Much of Smallwoods' recent, printing-focused growth has been maximized through Durst inkjet technology. Smallwoods, in fact, is now the largest user of Durst P5 350 inkjet presses in North America, with Durst technology increasing the company’s capacity by six times.
It’s easy to get stuck in the signage rut when printing wide-format graphics, but there are some print service providers out there doing some truly eye-catching and unusual things with the same equipment you can see on the show floor today.
Infinity Images is described by its founder and CEO George Gross as, “a small company with national reach, producing graphics for a group of clients with a national presence.” Durst has been a key partner in helping the company meet its goal to move to a digitally printed display graphics company.
A lot has happened since Durst introduced the P5 350 hybrid roll-to-roll/flatbed UV printer at the PRINTING United Expo in 2019, Larry D’Amico, director of sales for Durst North America, said during an in-booth press conference.
"Agfa is moving forward with good technology for our industry,” said Reuben Silva, VP of sales, inkjet, for Agfa, as he highlighted recent moves by the 123-year-old company.
