Functional printing shows just how “techy” it can be at SGIA’s inaugural FP3 Conference
Wednesday morning Meg Grant from Seismic presented “Printed Electronics for Function and Fashion” and pointed out the many design requirements that are faced when working on producing powered clothing and e-textiles. Not only does one need to be concerned with the actual apparel or design, but the mechanical and electrical components need to be considered along every step in the process.

To round out an informative and fun three days, on the afternoon of June 6, attendees took a tour of The M&R Companies facility in Roselle, Ill.
