I am delighted to welcome you to the inaugural issue of Wide-Format Impressions! Delivered bi-monthly, this magazine is part of a new brand launch at NAPCO Media that I am very excited about.
Wide-Format Impressions provides authoritative coverage on the industry trends, emerging technologies and news in the visual communications market, with a specific focus on the wide-format digital inkjet, industrial inkjet and garment segments. Our goal is to connect our readership with cutting-edge solutions and provide stories of success that will drive the future goals of their organizations.
As you can only imagine, this brand extension is near and dear to me since I’ve been involved with the wide-format market since 1998.
I’m especially excited about our go-to-market strategy, which sets us apart from other wide-format publications covering the market. Each print issue of Wide-Format Impressions focuses on a specific vertical market (i.e. retail, education, transportation, hospitality) and provides a deep dive on all of the applications driving the biggest opportunities for print service providers in that space. Additionally, we will be including the voice of the brand owners, detailing how print continues to be an important — and essential — part of their marketing strategies.
In this issue, we take a deep dive into the retail market. From experiential and pop-up stores to window graphics, package prototyping and fashion apparel, we look at all of the ins and outs of the market and how you — as a brand partner — can have all the right tools in your arsenal to best serve your retail clients.
Our primary goal — and NAPCO Media’s continuing mission — is to build community between our audience and our clients. We’ve already done this in the commercial print, in-plant, packaging and publishing spaces, and I am excited to be a part of NAPCO Media as we focus on the wide-format space and the visual communications market.
If you have news or eye-catching projects you’d like to share with the wide-format community, please send them to me directly. You can reach me at dgustavson@napco.com
I’m looking forward to exploring — and expanding on — the opportunities in this market with each and every one of you.
