The Right Resources
No one is going to claim this is the “printed electronics SGIA” — yet. But that doesn’t mean the technology isn’t already starting to make inroads, with a few vendors starting to offer technology capable of running the conductive inks, as well as experts who are closely involved with the space and can answer questions about where the market is today — and where it is going next.
But where should you start? And what questions should you be asking this early in the game, so to speak?
“Knowledge of current markets, film & ink manufacturers, molders, converters and integrators is key to any printers looking to expand or grow into the printed electronics space,” says Rebecca Fuhrman, Digital Market Development Manager, Tekra (Booth 2711). “Tekra, A Div of EIS, Inc., will have people & products available to discuss current or future printed electronics development.”
