The Lynx Group Turns to Rollem to Improve Bindery Functions
The Lynx Group is a single source provider for printing, binding, assembly, mailing, and distribution, located in Salem, Ore.
Seeking to improve their bindery functions the company evaluated their options and partnered with Rollem International (Booth 10351) to install the Insignia 6 sheetfed diecutter.
“The Insignia machine has been so amazing for our requirements, including educational cards, children’s games, and more,” says Scott Rowland, EVP, Lynx Group. “Before the Insignia, the finishing process involved separate cutting and round cornering machines. The Insignia is capable of converting the cards in one process, which has sped up our process, improved the quality, and increased our profits.”
Insignia systems includes a waste removal or stripping unit to remove the matrix and deliver the finished products onto a shingle conveyor. Standard functions of the unit include diecutting, kiss-cutting, creasing, slitting, perforating, and embossing.
