Sascha Tietje, Direct Enterprise Accounts Manager at Packsize International, will host a session at 2018 SGIA Expo discussing the future of on-demand packaging. He will lay out some of the options available to print shops that can help them stay ahead of the pack — now and in the future. The session is today at 10:30 am in room N120.
Tietje’s session will focus on the ways on-demand packaging must evolve to continue to stand out in the industry. He believes the industry needs to take a new, smarter approach to today’s production environment. He will discuss why that is and how they can do this.
One point Tietje will focus on is that offering a wide variety of dynamic print options is important to keep up with rising customer expectations. Some of the options he will focus on are high-resolution printing — both inside and outside the box — and smart shipping labels, along with other customized printing options.
Tietje will discuss some of the steps print shops may have to take to execute some of the new
options that customers expect. Some of the possible steps he will discuss include shorter print runs and faster turnaround times on jobs. The session will lay out how making some of these changes can help attendees stand out from the pack and both increase new customers and retain old ones.
He will focus ways the industry has stayed ahead of the curve in the past, and how they can continue to do so in the future.
