As part of a commitment to serve as a strategic partner for its customers in the U.S., AnaJet has decided to re-release ARTprint. A product bundle designed for use with Ricoh direct-to-garment printers, ARTprint provides an all-in-one solution for creating gallery-wrapped custom canvas prints.
While DTG operators have been printing on canvas for years, their choices for creating high-end finished prints have been limited. They had to print either on a pre-stretched canvas panel or print on canvas sheets and then stretch or frame the canvas themselves. Neither option is optimal for direct-to-garment printing.
It’s difficult to find pre-stretched canvas panels thin enough to fit in a printer and the ones that exist are usually primed for painting, which is not optimal for direct-to-garment printing. The alternative is to prime the canvas yourself, which can be a messy and time-consuming process.
Those that opt to print on unstretched canvas sheets face the challenge of finishing the print to create a final, salable product. You can frame the print or, if you want the modern, high-end look of gallery-wrapped canvas — a canvas panel where the image fully wraps over the edges and corners of the frame — you need specialized knowledge, tools, and skills acquired from years of experience. While creating a custom wrapped canvas panel was possible, it was too time-consuming and complex to be very profitable.
ARTprint offers a simpler, easier solution that saves money and time while still giving users the ability to create professional-quality custom canvas prints.
Canvas Printing Designed for DTG
Imagine printing a custom image on canvas and making a “ready to hang” piece of art right before your customer’s eyes. ARTprint makes it possible.
At the heart of ARTprint is exceptional canvas that is ideal for direct-to-garment printing. Achieve gorgeous glowing color, thanks to a smooth print surface that is bright, clean white, but still archival grade and OBA-free for long-lasting prints that resist yellowing and discoloration over time. With no need to pretreat or cure, the canvas’ slightly textured matte surface shows off the fine quality of the material while creating a subtle, high-end effect on the printed image.
Thanks to the included canvas stretching system, creating a gallery-wrapped canvas print is so easy that virtually anyone can do it. After trimming your canvas, use an easy technique that automatically stretches the canvas while you assemble the frame. All the tools you need are included, and the whole process takes only minutes to complete.
In addition, ARTprint also includes everything you need to finish your print. Simply apply either the Matte or Semi-Gloss Acrylic Coating using the included roller or brush set. The coating works to both enhance and protect the print and can be applied as a simple smooth coat or applied with a brush to achieve different texture effects.
Once the coating is fully dry, you have a durable, professional-quality canvas panel that’s ready to sell and display.
Ready to expand your product offerings? The ARTprint Bundle for Custom Canvas Printing is now available for $750 exclusively in our online store.
