swissQprint Unveils UV LED Printer and Robot
The Swiss developer and manufacturer of high-end large format printers, swissQprint (Booth 1253), is presenting a new LED model along with a loading/unloading robot: the Nyala LED flatbed printer along with Rob.
Nyala LED delivers a maximum output of 2,217 sqft/hr. It features a 126 x 79.9-inch flatbed with various optional add-ons. It even converts to a roll-to-roll printer. Thanks to LED curing, the range of possible substrates is extended and operation is hassle free. Energy consumption is 50 percent lower than with conventional systems and the lamp system is maintenance free. In other words, not only is Nyala LED highly economical but also environmentally-friendly.
Rob is the solution for unattended printing. This robot handles extra shifts and takes over repetitive work. The user gains time for other tasks and has fewer hours to work. Despite greater utilization of the printer and optimized delivery times, the work-life balance of personnel stays on the level. Higher output also has a positive impact on financial results.
Nyala LED and Rob will be working at the SGIA show in order to demonstrate their abilities.
