Soft signage had been a difficult field to enter in the past, but the advancements in printing technology in recent years has made it less challenging. These improvements in the field have changed who can enter it. Soft signage is a field that has become easier to branch into in recent years due to some of the technological improvements in printing. Mike Wozny, Strategic Product Manager at EFI (Booth 301), will lead the presentation to help attendees learn how they can find a way into the field. It will be held today at 1:30 pm in room N115.
The presentation will discuss how the improvements in dye-sublimation printers have made the field easier to access. The improvements in printing have made it so even entry-level dye-sublimation printers are capable of producing soft signage at an acceptable level.
The accessibility of printers that are capable of meeting industry standards means more businesses can attempt to work their way into soft signage. With this in mind, Wozny will discuss the markets for soft signage, the applications for it and how adding it could fit into attendees’ businesses.
Wozny will introduce attendees to the world of soft signage and the different opportunities in it. While discussing these opportunities, he will aim to provide attendees with a base of knowledge to help them determine whether branching into soft signage is something they want to consider.
