Shop! has launched a new set of self-study resources to help MaRC Certification candidates prepare for the written exam. To deliver the MaRC self-study resources, Shop! partnered with Morgan International, an international company that delivers professional development and training solutions to individuals and organization through globally recognized certification and diploma programs. The Shop! MaRC Program is the industry's only globally recognized credential that keeps retail individuals current on retail environments and experiences.
MaRC candidates can choose from two self-study packages:
- The Essential package includes the 2017 MaRC Exam Prep book—on which the certification exam is based—and online practice questions.
- The Premium package includes the MaRC Exam Prep Book and the practice questions plus flashcards, lecture notes, a summary booklet, and an abbreviated mock exam.
The Essential package costs $499, and the Premium package costs $1,299; discounts are available for Shop! members.
The MaRC program covers the five knowledge areas (Research, Design, Build, Market/Execute, Evaluate) in the development and execution of retail environments and in-store marketing materials. To achieve certification, candidates must pass a written exam based on the MaRC Exam Prep book. The book, written by more than 20 retail experts, details the best practices in retail environments and experiences.
