Shaun Thompson Named INX International’s New Technical Services Director

INX International Ink Company, the industry leader in metal decoration technology, has hired ink expert Shaun Thompson for the new position of technical services director at INX UK.

Thompson has held a number of notable jobs in the ink industry for almost 35 years. He has worked in technical sales and service, and business and sales management for companies such as Croda Inks (Manders), Edward Marsden Inks and Valspar. Most recently, he served as global sales manager for two-piece inks at Sun Chemical.

“I’m delighted that Shaun has joined our INX UK team,” stated Peter Lockley, President of INX Europe. “He has a wealth of experience, understands the challenges faced by our customers in the 2-piece can industry, and knows how to provide them with the support they need. I am proud of our Technical Services teams in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and Shaun’s global knowledge will help us to develop them further as we continue to grow and build on our market leading position.”

Thompson’s new job combines the role of technical services manager, Europe – which belongs to Bob Marsh, who will be retiring in January – and will expand to oversee Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
