SGP and Green2Sustainable Offer Design Competition for Ryerson University Students
The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), the leading authority in sustainable printing certifications, announced today it has joined a partnership to hold an Earth Day-themed design competition for students at Ryerson University. The winning design will be featured in the SGP Impact Tracker, a cloud-based system that gives SGP certified facilities a single, secure web platform to manage certifications from start to finish and ensure continued progress as they seek to further reduce waste and improve efficiency. To select the winning entries, SGP has partnered with Green2Sustainable, the innovative company that hosts the web application for the SGP Impact Tracker.
"I was honored to be part of the Ryerson GCM Colloquium. It was a great way to engage with future leaders of the design and print industry who will shape our sustainable future," said Jodi Sawyer, Strategic Business Unit manager, FLEXcon and SGP past chair. "This design contest for Earth Day 2021 is a great opportunity for students to showcase their digital and design skills, while at the same time providing SGP certified printers with themed templates to showcase their sustainability successes in the SGP Impact Tracker hosted by Green2 Sustainable.”
This Earth Day concept will make a great addition to the sustainability and design portfolio piece for students. Winning designs will be featured on the SGP website and made available at SGP certified facilities. Students will be attributed and retain their copyright/usage to the design. Entries may be submitted through April 8, 2021. Learn more about the competition at https://www.gcmcolloquium.com/sgp-contest.
