SGIA Expo: “A Great Place to Do Business”
Erik Norman is Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing with Bolger LLC, a major print and marketing service provider in Minneapolis, MN. One fast-growing part of the business is its display graphics segment, especially in environmental graphics. Another fast-growing area is marketing automation and marketing execution software platforms.
The SGIA Expo has been the primary show Norman attends to learn about the latest trends and technology influencing the graphics markets. “This year, I’m attending to see and learn about new materials and equipment that can help my company deliver innovative capabilities to our clients,” says Norman. “Our business is expanding, particularly in environmental graphics, and we need to ensure that we’re staying current with the latest new offerings.” Norman also uses the venue to meet both new and old colleagues and clients. “It’s a great place to do business,” he adds.
“This will be my first time attending as a print and marketing service provider, rather than a print industry supplier, so I am excited to walk the show from a new perspective,” Norman says. Norman is the former president of RTI Digital, a manufacturer of label and wide-format printing equipment.
Norman is specifically interested in attending the Brands Talking Sustainability luncheon, as Bolger is an SGP-certified printer and the sustainability of people, processes and the environment is one of the company’s core values.
Going into the show, he says, “I have three primary interest areas: software solutions, UV printing and innovative substrates.
“Beyond that, I plan to simply just take it all in with an eye toward new products or services we can offer to clients.”
