Trotec Laser (Booth N611) is showcasing a variety of new technologies.
With processing speeds up to 170 in/second, Trotec lasers are the fastest flatbed lasers on the market. They feature a low maintenance design and ceramic laser tubes, providing the highest quality results and long service life. Trotec offers a complete range of support including US-based customer service, a variety of educational resources, and a full line of laser and engraving materials.
Ruby Laser Software Redefined
Get a live demo of the laser software Ruby, which includes all the graphics tools that laser users need. Create graphics, photos, and text elements, and make adjustments quickly with the integrated workflow. Now you can directly import files such as PDF, svg, png, ai, and more without the complicated process of printing out the laser job from the graphics program.
All laser machines can be connected on one network, locally or remotely. In this way, jobs can be distributed from multiple PCs or Macs to multiple machines. This allows jobs to be prepared by one user and produced by another, anytime and anywhere, whether in the office, at home, or in the workshop.
New Vision Positioning Camera
Trotec’s new Vision Design & Position camera is a 12-megapixel lid camera designed to further speed up workflow by delivering a live image of the work area to the operating PC in real time.
A full color and detailed image of the laser bed and workpiece is displayed within Trotec’s proprietary Ruby software, allowing the laser operator to position the artwork file exactly where they’d like it to be cut or engraved, and to see a visual representation of how it will look before the job is started. This new feature eliminates the need for manual positioning of the laser pointer and saving graphic position data to the software, making laser job setup faster and easier than ever.
Discover Maximum Productivity
Trotec is featuring the SP2000, which combines a robust, ergonomic, and low-maintenance design with high-speed, high power precision processing capabilities in the largest safety class 2 laser cutter on the market. The system was designed for efficient processing of large-format materials such as acrylics, wood, textiles, and cardboard, to name a few. With a working area of 66x98" and access from all four sides, the system offers a generous working area with an ergonomic design.
In addition to easy access from all four sides, the SP2000 features a 71"-wide loading area at the front and the rear of the machine, allowing for unrestricted unloading and loading even while the machine is cutting. The setup will also drive productivity with processing speeds up to 6.5 ft/second, and laser power up to 400 watts. The fully enclosed beam path and additional safety features make the SP2000 a class 2 laser solution, eliminating the need for special safety measures.
Digital Print Series
Trotec is also relaunching the TroLase Digital Print Series line. The premium-quality, print-receptive laminates are now available in a broad range of surface finishes, including matte and gloss colors, mirrored, radiant, and brushed metal finishes. Designed for printing with UV and LED curing inks, the surface is pre-treated for superior ink adhesion with a core made of modified impact acrylic. It is ideal for applications that combine printing, laser engraving, and laser cutting, as well as print-and-cut applications such as interior signs, decorative signage, POS displays, badges, and more.
