SCREEN to ‘Energize Printers’ Potential and Profits’ with its Inkjet Press Technology

SCREEN (Booth 10951) — a pioneer in production inkjet, and a principal player in the printing industry helping drive inkjet’s rapid adoption across a range of markets — is showcasing two of its flagship inkjet machines at its interactive exhibit.

The Truepress Jet520 HD+ high definition inkjet web press produces offset-quality printing to standard coated stocks for applications ranging from commercial print, to high end direct mail, to books, to packaging and cut-sheet label. The press will be demonstrated live using SCREEN Truepress SC inks, which feature a breakthrough technology that eliminates the need for preprocessing or additional primer coating that most other inkjet printers require to print on standard offset coated stocks.

SCREEN recently announced a milestone achievement of 1,500 Truepress Jet high-speed continuous feed inkjet presses installed throughout the globe.

The SCREEN Truepress Jet L350UV+ inkjet label press is also energizing printers during the show with its incredibly dramatic label printing prowess. Mated with a REFINE Compact Finishing system at the SCREEN booth, the L350UV+ is running high-quality prime, industrial, and flexible film labels at FLEXO speeds all from its compact size and footprint. Approximately 150 label converters are already powering their production with L350UV machines.

Speaking of labels and FLEXO speeds, representatives of the SCREEN Americas and Nilpeter USA partnership, announced last Spring, are on hand to highlight how the dynamic collaboration is meeting the needs of label/packaging printers and converters with a single source solution, PANORAMA.

The PANORAMA system includes Nilpeter Flexo units, SCREEN digital inkjet label presses, and Nilpeter converting solutions that can be configured to fit customer needs to a tee — all inline, all from the Nilpeter and Screen coalition.
