Getting to grips with Color Management
As part of the SGIA conference schedule, SAi expert, Dean Derhak, will deliver an informative keynote presentation entitled ‘Color for Graphics Production 101’. Taking place in Room N117 on Thursday, October 18 at 12pm, the presentation will see Derhak highlight how businesses can meet the exacting demands of their customers by guaranteeing greater color consistency.
“Ensuring precise color management within the sign production workflow can seem like a daunting task, especially to those without prior knowledge,” explains Derhak
“These worries become a thing of the past with our Flexi software. Its collection of efficiency-enhancing tools guide users through the profiling process, simplifying things for even the most novice user,” he adds.
Attendees joining the keynote session will discover how they can seamlessly integrate Flexi into their existing workflow thanks to its ICC-compliant media profiles. Other time-saving capabilities include Flexi’s compatibility with print manufacturers’ online media color profile libraries. This eliminates the need for users to manually input the media profiles. Once the media is loaded, Flexi automatically generates the correct media profile from the print manufacturer’s library.
