Roland DGA Receives Two BLI Awards

As 2018 SGIA Expo opened its doors, Roland DGA (Booth 1137) was presented with two awards from Buyer’s Lab/Keypoint Intelligence: Outstanding Enhanced CMYK Eco Solvent/Latex 54 inch/64 inch Printer (7-Color) and Outstanding High Production CMYK Eco-Solvent/Latex 54 inch/64 inch Printer (Dual CMYK) for the TrueVIS VG-640 and VG-540 presses.
David Sweetnam, Director of Research and Lab Services, Keypoint Intelligence, presented the award to Kohei Tanabe, President, Digital Printing Division, Roland DG Corp., noting that the presses had the highest color gamut in the Keypoint Intelligence testing facility to this point, with the presses also garnering a five-star rating from the organization as well.
“We are honored that BLI has recognized the print quality and productivity of our VG printer/cutters which are engineered to deliver versatility, precision and power,” Tanabe said in a statement.
“It’s a great honor to gain the ‘seal of approval’ from a highly respected test lab like BLI,” noted Roland DGA President Andrew Oransky in a statement. “The TrueVIS VG-640 and VG-540 printer/cutters clearly outperformed other printers in their class.”
