SOLON, Ohio — October 11, 2018 — At 2018 SGIA Expo, RMGT will be focused on a theme of “Commit to Print,” where visitors will experience how LED-UV curing has become the dominant technology in today’s offset print marketplace. RMGT will be celebrating 10 years of innovation, being the pioneer in the introduction and innovation of LED-UV curing for offset presses. LED-UV offers commercial printers new options and opens up new opportunities in a time when many believed digital to be the only answer.
“We have observed that short run jobs that typically went to digital print are now coming back to offset,” says Kian Hemmen, director of sales, Print & Finishing Solutions, part of the RMGT distribution network. “With more than 65 installations of RMGT presses in North America, these operations report that new offset print technologies allow for stronger profit margins, wider options on printing substrates, higher quality and speed to market. Offset quality at digital quantities will be a major theme at SGIA 2018.”
Visitors to the booth will experience the RMGT difference through an exciting augmented reality experience, with posters around the booth coming to life with the Zappar app on both iPhones and Android devices. Notable industry expert Frank Romano will also be providing his unique and valuable insights from the augmented reality space, helping educate attendees not only about RMGT technology, but how offset can fit into any shop’s plans for the future.
“It has been an honor to be part of the RMGT story for the past 10 years, and I am excited to see where it goes next,” says Chris Manley, president of Graphco, the Midwest Distributor for RMGT North America. “The technology is some of the best in the market today — offset or digital — and it has been incredible to see the number of customers who return to offset, even previously all-digital shops, on the strength of the RMGT lineup. We are beyond excited to be able to show the SGIA Expo attendees how offset printing has evolved, and how it can help them take their business — no matter what type of signage or graphics they produce — to the next level.”
Join RMGT at 2018 SGIA Expo booth 4717, October 18-20, 2018 in Las Vegas.
