Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, Prisma Graphic offers a slate of services from all things print to full-service marketing capabilities, plus direct mail and logistics services. In addition to Phoenix, it has locations in Tucson, Arizona; Austin, Texas; and Nashville, Tennessee. With expertise serving various industries like education, hospitality, healthcare, finance, restaurant, retail, franchise, and real estate, Prisma Graphic has seen tremendous year-over-year growth.
This year, it saw a 67% increase in revenue, with total 2023 sales coming to $137 million — $6.85 million coming from wide-format. CEO James Hill credits the success to a “combination of double-digit organic growth and the completion of two strategic acquisitions.”
While continued investment and expansion into its “tech-enabled print platform” played a major role in driving this growth, allowing the company to bring in enterprise and regional business, Hill says understanding client needs also goes a long way.
“The single biggest factor in our ongoing success is understanding our clients’ needs and providing them with our proprietary technology and our strategic print manufacturing platforms to achieve their objectives,” Hill shares. “Our clients are under immense pressure to improve their marketing effectiveness, prove an ROI, show sales growth, reduce costs, and speed up time to market. Prisma helps our clients excel in all these areas through innovative marketing and print solutions — like our Dokshop custom online storefronts — that help unify brand materials and our unparalleled printing services. Our massive marketing and print production operation can bring anything to life for a brand.”
Asking what’s on the horizon, Hill says Prisma Graphic will continue to focus on and understand client needs and provide innovative solutions.
“We also want to make sure we are investing accordingly, which tends to drive our activity and investment in technology and automation,” he says. “A notable example of this is our HITRUST certification. Security, especially when it comes to healthcare communication, has been in the news a lot over the past few years. In direct response to this issue — and in turn our clients’ needs we underwent the complex process of becoming a HITRUST certified facility. The certification elevates the security posture of our mail handling processes to unprecedented levels and enhances operational efficiency.”
For a company that aims to streamline and automate business processes — saving clients valuable time and money — the right investments matter. Focusing on everything from concept to execution with speed and accuracy, Hill wants to continue to propel Prisma Graphic as the go-to single-source supplier for marketing needs.
Looking at the next 12 months, he hopes to expand Prisma Graphic’s packaging footprint and digital printing capabilities. “We also have an active pipeline of acquisition activity, which should result in additional acquisitions,” Hill shares.
With a winning growth strategy, a focus on technology investments, and tremendous year-over-year success, we wouldn’t be surprised if we saw Prisma Graphic at the top of the list next year!
