The production of quality signage requires both quality equipment and quality media, so when print and finishing equipment manufacturers seek to attract new business opportunities at key exhibitions, they look for the best media they can to ensure the capability of their equipment is shown to its full potential. At Sign & Digital UK and FESPA Global Print Expo earlier in 2018, several leading equipment manufacturers and suppliers, including HP (Booths 1147 and 1161), InkTec and Mutoh (Booth 900) turned to the rigid plastic sheets range from Brett Martin (Booth 2531) to allow for their live on-stand demonstrations to make maximum impact.
HP, which presented its Latex R2000 printer at FESPA in May, utilized Brett Martin’s Foamalux PVC sheets to demonstrate the printer’s ability to produce stunning print work on rigid media. Mike Horsten, Business Development Manager at HP, was delighted with the results: “After years of development, HP launched the HP Latex Rigid R-Series printers. When we debuted it at FESPA, we demonstrated its capabilities in printing on rigid media using Brett Martin’s products. They produced excellent results with a wow factor.”
InkTec, manufacturer of the JETRIX series of UV printers, ran live demonstrations on its new LED flatbed printer at both FESPA and at Sign & Digital UK using Brett Martin Foamalux PVC sheets. Sales Manager Ben Woodruff was delighted with the results: “We were pleased to use Brett Martin’s Foamalux on our exhibition stands. The product printed perfectly on both our UV and UV-LED machines, providing a base for vibrant prints with zero static issues. Visitors were very impressed with the results of the print work, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Brett Martin’s Foamalux to any of our customers.”
Mark Robinson, Territory Sales Manager for Brett Martin in the United States says, “We were delighted to see such major industry partners using our unique and exclusive Foamalux range during the exhibitions this year. They ably demonstrated the strengths of the range and the ways in which it allows print, display and signage businesses to design, create and innovate to their heart’s desire.”
