Nieman Printing Looks to a Vivid Future with Jeti Mira LED from Agfa

Always planning for the future, the team at Neiman heard about Agfa’s (Booth 8242) Jeti Mira wide-format LED flatbed printer. “We were fairly close to capacity on our last hybrid and planning our next steps,” says Matt Nieman, COO at Nieman Printing. “The speed and quality of the Jeti Mira is impressive, and the ink savings makes us more competitive. That’s what sold us.” 

Nieman Printing chose the Jeti Mira MG2732 HS LED with six colors (CMYK, Lc, and Lm) plus white with optional varnish, and a dockable roll-to-roll extension, which helps reduce media waste.

With speeds up to 2,669 sqft/hr (248 sqm/hr), Jeti Mira handles rigid media up to 2.69m wide, flexible media up to 2.05m wide. “We are increasing customer volume with the Mira, and clients are noticing the improved caliber of our work,” explains Nieman. “Jobs that would take six or seven hours are accomplished in 45 minutes, which means our clients have more time to manage their files and make changes.” 

Nieman Printing can produce stunning, detailed images and razor-sharp text as small as 4-pt. type. “We layered varnish on a linen material for one of our clients. They were ecstatic and increased their order,” notes Nieman.
