Marabu North America (Booth 5021) is showcasing several ink and coating systems at PRINTING United. These include the release of Marabu’s new line of liquid coatings, and the debut of a new UV rotary printer.

ClearShield Liquid Laminate and Starlam 1600R

Discover the world of liquid laminate. Marabu is releasing its new line of ClearShield Professional liquid laminates, and expanding their ClearShield line.

ClearShield water-based liquid coatings offer the same protection as film laminates while saving as much as 60% in production costs. Industry-leading protection from UV exposure, moisture, abrasion, chemical damage, and marring are just some of the benefits of coating your digital prints with ClearShield.

To ensure maximum protection, our coatings are specifically formulated for a variety of inks and applications. These applications can be applied by hand, or by an automatic flood coater like the StarLam 1600R.

Engineered for ease of use and high-quality output, the StarLam 1600R is a 64" roll-to-roll liquid laminator that delivers a smooth, consistent coating of Marabu’s  ClearShield liquid laminate.

The StarLam is designed for single operator use, and is ideally suited for a store front shop or high production printer, providing unmatched durability and a fresh vibrant look to high end prints.

M Revo

M Revo

Marabu is also introducing its first digital printing equipment, the M Revo, the first “single pass” semi-automatic printer designed for cylindrical objects. It features UltraJet, the only ink on the market designed for the complete range of substrates: glass, plastics, powder coat, and stainless steel.

M Revo was designed with a focus as a short- to medium-run digital container printer, with a targeted price well below comparable equipment. The M Revo’s print heads require one revolution per color, providing a print speed up to 90 parts/hour. Reliability and robustness are two key characteristics of the new hardware.
