Mutoh America, Inc., a leader in wide-format inkjet printers and cutters, today announced they have received GREENGUARD GOLD certification for their new MS-41 Eco-Solvent ink by UL.
Products bearing the GREENGUARD Certification mark signal to the marketplace that a product is low-emitting VOC emissions. Representative samples of products bearing the GREENGUARD Certification mark have been independently tested and certified to demonstrate that they meet one of UL Environment's rigorous third-party GREENGUARD Certification standards. GREENGUARD Certification standards are based on established emission criteria used by the State of California, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and other reputable public health agencies.
The GREENGUARD Gold Certification standard includes health based criteria for additional chemicals and also requires lower total VOC emission levels to ensure that products are acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities.Mutoh's MS-41 ink received Gold Standard for Chemical Emissions for Building Materials, Finishes and Furnishings and is certified for Decorative Wall Applications.
"Our customers want to know that their Mutoh ink is safe for their applications" says Brian Phipps, President and GM of Mutoh America. "Green Guard Gold certification is the perfect stamp of approval letting everyone know these inks are safe for the most sensitive of environments."
