Monadnock Paper Mills, Inc., the oldest continuously operating paper mill in the United States, announced today that it has broadened its west coast distribution. It has established a new stocking location in Kent, Washington to more fully serve its growing customer base on the U.S. West Coast.
Being in King County, the heart of the Seattle–Tacoma metropolitan area, means faster fulfillment and reduced customer shipping costs for Monadnock’s in-demand and sustainably-advantaged fine paper and packaging portfolio. Shipping times will range from one to two days with the added benefit of convenient customer pick-up.
“Historically, companies and organizations on the West Coast have been early adopters of sustainable products and processes,” said Lisa Taylor, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Monadnock Paper Mills. “As the paper industry’s oldest and best known sustainability leader, it was a natural next step to make this expansion and investment to better service our customers across the region.”
Monadnock papers enjoy an enviable sustainability profile: Crafted from 100% post-consumer waste (PCW) recycled materials, FSC Certified (FSC C018866), manufactured carbon-neutral (VERs) and made with 100% renewable Green-e certified wind-powered electricity (RECs) under a third-party certified ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
The new distribution center is stocking and offering for immediate delivery some of Monadnock’s newest and most popular sustainable brand lines in a broad range of weights and sizes: Astrolite PC 100 Uncoated Smooth, HP Indigo Certified Astrolite PC 100 Digital +, Astrolite PC 100 Velvet 2CS, Envi PC 100 Performance Board and, Hemp Envi Performance Board.
Monadnock papers are sought-after and specified by the world’s leading brands and creatives, combining sustainability and performance for a wide range of end-uses in packaging, retail, collateral, annual reports, and marketing materials for cosmetics, nutraceuticals/CBD, wines and spirits, fashion accessories, health and beauty, jewelry and watches, and tech gadgets.
