Mimaki USA announces the launch of the JFX200-2513 EX UV-LED flatbed printer.
“Mimaki leads in UV-LED curable technologies and the JFX is one of the industry’s most popular models,” says Michael Maxwell, senior manager at Mimaki USA. “Our customers love the value, flexibility and reliability the Mimaki JFX Series provides. Our commitment to cost-effective solutions and the elegant design of the JFX gave us the opportunity to satisfy our customers’ growing needs.”
The JFX200-2513 EX boasts increased productivity. The flatbed has adopted a new draft mode that enables a maximum print speed of up to 12 boards per hour. Its three staggered printheads also allow for simultaneous printing without sacrificing speed, even when using white and clear inks. This model offers faster mechanical motors and a vacuum foot pedal that gives the user the ability to load or unload various substrates quicker and more effectivity.
Additionally, Mimaki engineers developed a 2.5D print function for the JFX200-2513 EX. Compatible with RasterLink6 Plus software, 2.5D printing allows users to create dimensional textured graphics up to 0.5 mm in height using greyscale. Combined with Mimaki Clear Control, this print function also takes full advantage of Mimaki’s LUS clear inks to remove bubbles and create sharper edges, delivering graphics that look and feel like the objects being represented.
“The new JFX200-2513 EX printer builds on the original model’s features that our customers have come to count on. We engineer products based on customer insights, allowing us to offer a printer that will serve the needs of our users and their businesses,” adds Maxwell. “We’re excited about this addition to our JFX Series product family.”
The JFX200-2513 EX can print onto media up to 98.4” wide x 51.1” long x 1.96” thick, producing a range of applications such as rigid signage, wayfinding, decorative panels, POPs, custom pieces and more. It utilizes GREENGUARD Gold inks in four and six color configurations, plus available white, clear and primer.
Includes Mimaki Core Technologies:
· Mimaki Advanced Pass System (MAPS) and Waveform Control ensure precise and accurate quality throughout the printing process.
· Nozzle Check Unit (NCU) automatically monitors the performance of the printhead and detects clogged nozzles.
· Nozzle Recovery System (NRS) allows the operator to substitute unproductive nozzles to avoid poor image quality or service calls.
· Together, the NCU and NRS enable uninterrupted printing even if nozzle errors do occur.
The JFX200-2513 EX will be available for order from a Mimaki authorized dealer in summer 2019.
