At Mimaki USA’s press conference at PRINTING United, the company celebrated its 20th anniversary serving the Americas region with a slew of product launches and updates.
Naoya Kawagoshi, president, Mimaki USA, noted the company’s growth, stating, “We will keep striving, and will keep making investments to grow this business.”
Michael Maxwell, senior manager, introduced a wide range of new products designed to help the company better serve the converging markets across the industry. All of the new products are on display in the company’s booth.
The JV300 Plus printer, CJV300 Plus printer/cutter device, and CG-FXII Plus cutter models all received new features for productivity increases, cost-savings, and sustainability.
Maxwell also introduced the new generation of the TX300P-1800 MkII, which now has both dual media and dual ink support, allowing shops to easily switch between transfer paper and direct-to-garment printing on the same machine. “This model builds on the success of the TX300P by increasing the capabilities in one unit, so that our customers can benefit from enhanced versatility in terms of fabrics, applications, and target markets,” said Maxwell.
Finally, the company launched a new metallic UV ink for the UJF-7151 plus benchtop LED-UV flatbed printer. “Metallic ink can be used to create high value-added imaged products,” said Maxwell.
