As a leading distributor, Midland Paper, Packaging + Supplies always strives to be at the forefront of the latest industry trends. This is why Midland has chosen to exhibit at PRINTING United (Dallas, Tex., October 23-25, 2019).
“This is a major event for the printing and packaging industry and a perfect venue to showcase what we have to offer in terms of new products and market expertise,” says Mike Ratcliff, president, Midland Specialty Papers. In booth 9561, the company will present its full line of commercial, packaging, and publication papers, as well as specialty papers and films.
“In addition to product samples and swatch books, Midland will also have our newly printed Specialty Paper and Film catalogs specifically tailored to all print technologies, as well as our latest packaging catalog,” Ratcliff says. “We believe there is nothing currently on the market that matches the breadth and depth of our product lineup, and these catalogs serve as both a reference guide as well as an educational tool.”
Midland’s product lineup will be well suited to the diversified attendee audience at PRINTING United, a joint venture of the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) and NAPCO Media. As the successor to the highly-acclaimed SGIA Expo events, PRINTING United has been conceived to offer the industry a new perspective on profiting in segments from garment to graphic, packaging to commercial, and industrial to in-plant.
Its theme is convergence, the movement by print service providers into adjacent areas of market opportunity as they add new capabilities and product applications to their existing portfolios. This is a trend that Midland has experienced in its own way as a source of substrates for all print applications, according to Ratcliff.
“Midland is fully committed to serving our customers through all facets of their business needs,” he explains. “By design, we achieved this through a strategic expansion of the Midland National segment and the establishment of dedicated packaging and a specialty papers and films segment.”
As a result, he says, Midland will be well prepared to show PRINTING United attendees samples of all the substrates they want to see and learn more about.
