CAMBRIDGE, UK — November 15, 2018 — Meteor Inkjet further enhances its portfolio with the launch of a new DropWatcher family of products. To see a DropWatcher in action, visit Meteor at InPrint (Stand 1034) in Milan, November 20-22, 2018.
Meteor DropWatchers are turnkey systems for evaluating and optimizing printhead and ink combinations using proven electronics that can be transferred straight from the lab to manufacturing.
Driven by a single Windows 10 PC, Meteor DropWatchers are an essential tool for printhead waveform characterisation and development. Incorporating easily interchangeable printhead mounts, printhead drive electronics and intuitive software with the familiar Meteor user interface, Meteor DropWatchers support all major industrial inkjet printheads from FUJIFILM Dimatix, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Ricoh, Seiko Instruments, Toshiba TEC and Xaar.
Matthew Pullen, Meteor’s product manager for DropWatching Systems comments, “We are proud to crystallise Meteor’s extensive inkjet electronics and software experience into this new DropWatcher family. Ink manufacturers and print system developers will now benefit from a cost-efficient way to visualise and measure drops in flight while adjusting printhead waveform parameters in real time.”
