WFI: What made you decide to attend this year's Expo?
Valiulis: Being new to the printing industry, I felt it was important to get involved with as many events and learning opportunities as possible. We are also growing extremely quickly and we need the right partners to support our growth. Trade events like PRINTING United are a great way to quickly grow our vendor base and find out about new technologies.
WFI: For first-time attendees, what do you hope to learn at the Expo?
Valiulis: This will by my first Printing United. I am excited to see the latest technologies from printing vendors, learn about adjacent business opportunities, and grow our vendor base.
WFI: What products, brands, or services are you most looking forward to seeing?
Valiulis: I am excited to find new material vendors and applications. Specifically, more sustainable options to our current rigid offerings. We are very interested in automation as well, so we are hoping to find some vendors specializing in simplifying our processes and reducing touches.
WFI: How do you plan and make the most of your time at the Expo?
Valiulis: I will research the floor plan for some key vendors that I would like to see prior to attending but I think allowing some room for the unexpected will be important.
WFI: How do you hope attending will impact your business/career moving forward?
Valiulis: Building a foundation of great vendors is an important part of our early tenure at Interstate Graphics. We have put a major focus on vendor relationships as this will allow us to sustain our growth rate.
