It’s easier than ever to sell on Shopify, Amazon, and Etsy; there has been a massive influx of graphic T-shirt brands capitalizing on opportunities from new print-on-demand technology and multi-channel ecommerce. Digital printing technologies offer the dream of print-on-demand with no inventory liability, but for many growing graphic T-shirt brands, that dream has turned into a nightmare as they struggle to maintain margins, on-time delivery, and scale output to match peak-season demand.
In this session, “Print-on-Demand: Multi-Channel Meets Multi-Modal,” Nathan Anderson, VP Marketing, FM Expressions (Booth 1605) will look at the lessons learned from the brands that have survived several fourth quarter snowballs and explosive growth rates by developing a hybrid fulfillment model. Come to this session on Wednesday, March 23rd at 3:00pm in Room C141 and learn how these brands leveraged multiple decoration modalities to ensure on-time delivery, met consumer demands, reduced their cost of goods, and limited inventory exposure. We will also discuss how these e-commerce retailers are leveraging multiple modes of decorating: from direct-to-garment to heat transfer to screen print, to expand capacity and increase margins.
