Las Vegas, Nv. — August 24, 2018 — Kre8 Media is known for its high-impact ads - and now, the company is demonstrating that its dedication to giving back is even bigger than the outsized billboards Kre8 Media brings to life for its clients.
The company has recently founded a nonprofit organization, Kre8 Cares, whose mission is to provide ongoing assistance to homeless and displaced families in the Las Vegas area. In addition, the nonprofit is focused on helping the environment by recycling portions of Kre8 Media's advertising materials, transforming waste into products that can benefit children and families.
One of Kre8 Cares' first initiatives is an alliance with RAREFORM, which repurposes 20,000 pounds of billboard vinyl per month — which otherwise would have been destined for a landfill-into one-of-a-kind consumer products like backpacks, totes and duffel bags.
"Kre8 Cares is the realization of a longtime dream of the company's founders," says Shaun Habibian, managing partner of Kre8 Media. "Our hearts are with the Las Vegas community, and we're committed to helping its neediest get the essentials they need. All of us in Las Vegas have seen the swell of homelessness across our city, and many of us have experienced the struggles of friends and family trying to make ends meet. Kre8 Cares is dedicated to doing its part to make the world a more compassionate and socially conscious place."
Kre8 Cares offers hope and dignity to disadvantaged members of the community, and seeks to make an everlasting, positive impression on the world. By transforming discarded materials into much-needed equipment, Kre8 Cares shows its love for our planet — and all of humankind.
