Since introducing the TRIANGLE brand of HFB UV curable inks to the market in 2017, INX Digital (booth 619) has promoted it to the independent and franchise owners who attend the annual FASTSIGNS International Convention. Those attending the Feb. 6-9 event at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida can learn how HFB provides better quality and a steep cost savings compared to OEM inks.
HFB is a reliable, versatile, and high-performance inkjet ink that has gained the trust of distributors and customers across North America. Mitch Roberts, Vice President of Lee’s Screen Process Supply in Stafford, Texas, began selling it to customers in 2017. He observed a significant improvement in color range and increased affordability, with savings of about 40% per box. Roberts noted an additional 15-20% savings is possible due to improved color profiles that yield better results with less dispersion.
A go-to source of screen printing and digital graphic supplies. Lee’s sells to nationwide internet-based print suppliers and local printers. More than 150 clients have converted from OEM to HFB, including Buffalo Specialties on the southwest side of Houston. The screen printing, embroidery, and promotional products distributor takes pride in helping build and empower brands through various marketing tactics. Color makes a statement and with corporations wanting to exactly match brand guidelines, it is why Sijin Kurian prefers HFB inks.
“I use HFB inks for its quality and price,” said Kurian, the Digital Department Manager at Buffalo Specialties. He’s been with the company for over two years and in the digital printing industry since 2014. “In terms of vividness and range, HFB is vastly superior than the OEM inks and a much better price. The majority of our products are outdoor signage with banners and yard signs, but we are working on several wallpaper projects that look amazing.”
HFB is flexible and fast curing with high chemical resistance to reduce chipping and peeling. Optimized to run on specific HP Scitex platform printers, it provides excellent adhesion on a wide range of digital graphic media. Customers with sustainability guidelines prefer it since the eco-friendly, bag-in-box packaging limits waste. Add the industry-leading ink train warranty to the mix and the advantages make converting from an OEM unequivocally more beneficial.
“I used HFB at other print shops, so I have six years of experience with them. Printing with HFB inks has brought our products to the next level,” acknowledged Kurian, who runs the ink on his workhorse HP Scitex FB750 printer. “The difference is night and day compared to OEM inks, and we are able to match to a greater degree. Lee’s Supply has been very instrumental in getting HFB installed and calibrated on my printers. It was such an easy process, and I can’t thank them enough.”
Evan Lyons, Western Regional Sales Manager for INX, will be available in booth 619 to answer all questions about converting to HFB inks. If you are not attending the FASTSIGNS Convention but would like more information, contact him at info@intl.com.
