Five finalists for the inaugural Colored by INX Can Design contest have been determined. Voting is now open to the public on the INX International Ink Co. Facebook page through April 13. The winning entry will be announced on April 14.
Entries were accepted between February 26 and March 31 from those who used the popular INX Metal Color Catalog for their designs. Eligibility also required the commercially available product to have been designed between January 1 - December 31, 2019, and the submitted design had to include the use of no less than two colors from the INX Color Perfection library.
The finalists selected by a panel of INX judges and their respective product names are:
- 2 Towns Ciderhouse, Cosmic Currant
- Brooklyn Brewery, Ball’s The Stonewall Inn IPA
- Crown Brand Building Packaging, Indio’s Barrio de los Muertos
- National Beverage Corp., La Croix LimonCello
- Two Chicks Cocktails, Whiskey Spicy Ginger & Orange Cocktail
More than 200 beverage brands, breweries, can makers, design agencies and other beverage marketers now recognize the INX Metal Color Catalog as the only true color standard in the metal decorating industry. Viewed as a more efficient design-to-market process from color selection to on shelf product, it provides cost savings, brand consistency and color accuracy advantages. A new update within the next two months will add options to the roster of 600 plus removable metal color swatches that are currently available.
The winner of the Colored by INX Can Design contest will receive an engraved trophy, bragging rights and other recognition. Please visit the INX Facebook page by April 13 to cast your vote.
