Global printing industry leader Inkcups will demonstrate the high-performance output of eight of its leading printing systems at the inaugural PRINTING United, a new trade show built on the 50-year foundation of the former SGIA Expo. The event will be held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, October 23-25, 2019. Inkcups will be exhibiting in Booth 2011 in the Apparel & Industrial Exhibit Hall.
The Inkcups display will feature the company’s Helix, X360, X5-T digital printers; Brite, ICN-2200-PS, ICN-150, brand new ICN-200, pad printers; and CobaltONE and Cobalt 2000 laser plate-makers. During the show, these machines will produce high-quality print output on a variety of giveaway items, including plastic drinkware, cooler bags, mini T-shirts, highlighters, flying discs and notebooks.
The Helix is a digital cylinder printer engineered to print stunning CMYKWW+V full color on straight-walled and tapered cylinders, such as sports bottles, mixing glasses, barware, candles, stainless steel tumblers and more. Inkcups’ best seller, the Helix is unmatched in the industry for price and performance in its category. The X360 offers similar capabilities and specializes in continuously printing brilliant whites over dark-colored substrates. The X5-T UV flatbed digital machine is equipped with five print heads for on-demand, full-color prints on flat and hard goods up to twenty inches tall, such as hard and soft coolers, promotional items and more.
The Brite tagless pad printer is an easy-to-use tabletop system that produces the most opaque white on dark fabrics without fading, surpassing the industry standard for print durability. The ICN-2200PS is a two-color sealed-cup pad printing machine with a heavy-duty dual-position pneumatic pad-slide mechanism known for flawless second-color registration. These two machines are ideally suited for printing on textiles and apparel items. The ICN-150 is a 1- or 2-color large image pad printer that consistently delivers crisp, accurate graphics on larger items.
Brand new to the market in September and making its first trade show debut, the ICN-200 produces large 1-color prints on injection-molded plastics, industrial parts and appliances. This industrial pad printer is ideal for 1-color logos, graphics and labels on larger parts up to 11.7 inches tall.
The ICN-200’s plate also accommodates multiple images for smaller parts. The ICN-200 utilizes a 200 mm ink cup, 11.8-inch pad stroke length and can print an image size of up to 7.48 inches in diameter. Typical applications include plastic containers (recycle bin); kitchenware (plastic and metal paper towel dispensers); food storage containers; satellite dishes and appliance panels.
In addition to the printing systems, there will be live plate-etching demonstrations on Inkcups’ laser plate-making systems CobaltONE and Cobalt 2000. The CobaltONE boasts the industry’s most advanced fiber laser technology, able to precisely etch spot sizes down to 50 micron for over 30,000 impressions. The Cobalt 2000 is an industry leader in affordability and efficiency with solid-state laser technology.
