Industry Mourns Passing of Agfa's Reuben Silva

June 28 brought sad news of that passing of Reuben Silva, vice president of sales - inkjet, North America at Agfa Offset & Inkjet Solutions.

About his passing, Agfa Inkjet Solutions posted the following statement:

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the untimely passing of our dear colleague Ruben Silva. Ruben has been a driving force behind Agfa’s success for the past 18 years as he led the sales team in North America.

Ruben had a unique way of connecting with people and building long-lasting relationships. He cared deeply for our customers, the North American team, and Agfa. He was a mentor to many of us, working side by side to help us reach our fullest potential. His positive attitude and smiling demeanor made work fun. Ruben’s passing leaves a significant void in the company and the graphic arts community, but his legacy will continue to inspire us.

In addition to being greatly missed by his Agfa family Ruben is survived by his loving wife Lucy, son Justin, daughter Chantelle, and his grandson, Remi. Please keep Ruben’s family in your thoughts during this difficult time.
