It might be cliché to say it’s important to stand out from the crowd, but there’s nothing cliché about driving higher profits and fostering a stable future. That’s why print service providers are increasingly turning to wide-format applications, many of which are predicted to experience double-digit growth over the next several years.
New innovations in the area are ongoing, developed to meet the challenge and respond to shifting market demands and industry trends. With the right wide-format equipment, there’s nearly no limit to what can be printed on – from glass to wood to corrugated packaging.
In “Elevating Your Applications to a Higher Profit,” Becky McConnell, Fujifilm (Booth 8220) product manager for high-productivity wide-format equipment, will share with session attendees ways to incorporate more profitable wide-format applications into their product mix, across various print devices.
“In the current, competitive marketplace, PSPs are searching for ways to incorporate more profitable applications into the product mix they offer their clients,” McConnell says. “By focusing on different ways to use today's technology, different applications can be presented to clients to help drive the bottom line. In this session, I'll focus on trending applications that lend themselves to high profits – like custom interior design and textured printing.”
Another highlight of the presentation, which takes place on Wednesday, October 23rd at 3:00 pm in Room C140, will be an overview of the different types of substrates available, and which can enhance the level of output that PSPs are bringing to their clients.
“Another way to drive profits is for print providers to diversify the markets that they serve, and I'll cover painless ways for them to introduce new applications and motivate their sales team to seek new clients,” explains McConnell.
