Inaugural Season for VEGAS Golden Knights & Kre8's TD Towers come up big with OBIE Finalist
Vegas Golden Knights and Kre8's Media's epic OOH campaign is a finalist for a 2019 OBIE. In it's 77th year the OBIE's are recognized as the most prestigious shows in advertising, awarding creative excellence in OOH Advertising. "Through the Glass" campaign features Golden Knight Winger Riley Smith (wrapped on TD Tower 2, with a hockey stick extension) blasting a shot from the east end of the Las Vegas Strip across 8 lanes of traffic onto the west end of the LV Strip. The speed and fury of the puck blasts through the column and cracks the entire column which mirrors the facade of the brick of the pedestrian bridge. Half of the "Vegas Born" puck emerges through the column as a 15 foot 3D piece of the puck emerges from TD Tower 1.
This campaign was the very first activation on the Touchdown Towers, six elevator columns released by Kre8 Media in March of 2018. These eye level, mammoth units lie at the epicenter of the Las Vegas Strip, while covering the entire intersection of Las Vegas Blvd and Flamingo Rd; considered one of busiest vehicle and pedestrian intersections in the United States . The glass units act as the pedestrian bridge columns that connect the bridge which serves to connect people to walk from one side of the strip to the other. Las Vegas Strip is well known to be a national and international hub for business, entertainment and pleasure, this campaign was eye candy for millions of visitors, while garnering local and national headlines during its 12 week run.
