Inaugural Apparelist Forum at PRINTING United Expo Will Highlight Evolving Decorated Apparel Market
The rapidly evolving decorated apparel market will be the focus at the inaugural Apparelist Forum, set to take place at PRINTING United Expo this year from Oct. 18-20 in Atlanta.
The Forum, which is sponsored by Kornit Digital, is designed for shop owners, production managers, and those in the printing industry interested in apparel decoration to network and discuss competitive advantages, nimble production, and more. A particular emphasis will be put on direct-to-garment (DTG) printing technology.
Attendance is free; however, those interested must fill out a form to be invited to the Forum. Space is limited. The Apparelist Forum will take place on the second day of the Expo, Oct. 19, from 12 to 1:30 p.m., and lunch will be served.
Apparelist Forum Theme and Schedule
Sponsored by Kornit, the session will be broken up into two main sections. The first half will kick off with a presentation on the convergence of analog and digital printing in the decorated apparel industry. Information will be shared on:
- Other print segments that have already transitioned to blended production platforms
- Differentiation and competitive advantages include adapting nimble production and supply chain to reduce time to market, increase customization, and respond to demand for shorter runs
- Quality/cost equation of DTG is evolving and increasing viability for high-volume, short-run production in scale
The second half of the session will be a user panel discussion in which representatives from three different business models will discuss these market changes. There will be time for audience Q&A near the end of the user panel.
Other Networking and Education Opportunities
For those unable to attend the Apparelist Forum, there are plenty of other opportunities to engage with the decorated apparel community throughout PRINTING United Expo. The Apparel Zone, booth C107, will be an interactive and engaging space to foster networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among industry professionals.
Plus, check out the free presentation series at Future State Theater. Curated content will be given by thought-leaders in the decorated apparel space that will cover the latest innovations in technologies and decorating practices. Entry to the theater will be located on the PRINTING United Expo floor in the Future State Lounge, where you can grab a coffee (or beer), network with colleagues in comfortable seating, and even take in a live podcast.
