Agfa Graphics Debuts High Performance Innovations
ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. - March 23, 2018 - Print service providers looking to lower their cost of print production while providing high-quality to their clients should visit Agfa Graphics (booth 2611) at ISA's Sign Expo. Agfa's unique systems approach, which integrates and optimizes the UV inkjet engine, ink, media and software will be showcased.
"ISA provides a wonderful opportunity for PSPs to get up close to the engines they've been researching," says Deborah Hutcheson, director of marketing, Agfa Graphics North America. "We take the opportunity to demonstrate our robust equipment and the unique systems approach that deliver the lowest cost of ink consumption in the industry. Our portfolio rises above with a best-in-class selection of high performing UV inkjet printers, wide-format workflow automation, thin ink layer technology and value line of substrates."
Agfa Graphics printing systems feature UV LED lamps for a more economical and ecological curing process for significant power savings and increased ROI. UV LED enables immediate start-up and therefore higher productivity.
Among the systems that will be on display and available for demonstrations at the Agfa Graphics booth (2611) are:
- Jeti Tauro H2500 LED (6C + 8W + ABF) - At 2.5 m wide, this high-production hybrid UV inkjet printer with an integrated roll-to-roll system is the flagship of the Agfa fleet. It features continuous and automated feeding of a wide range of flexible and rigid media and can output on corrugated board. Built for demanding 24/7 workloads, Jeti Tauro LED offers speeds up to 2,960 ft.²/hr. (275 m²/hr.) and offers outstanding print quality in six colors plus white or primer.
- Jeti Mira 2732HS LED with varnish and RTR - This powerful moving-gantry flatbed printer is designed for optimal flexibility. Jeti Mira's 'Print & Prepare' function enables the operator to load one side of the table while the other side is printing for non-stop productivity. The Jeti Mira reaches speeds up to 2,669 ft.²/hr. (248 m²/hr.) and produces industry-leading print quality in six colors (CMYKLcLm) and white, with optional (3D) varnish or primer.
- Anapurna H3200i LED - A 3.2 m hybrid, the Anapurna H3200i LED is ideal for a variety of uncoated rigid media and roll media applications. The 6-color engine includes a white ink function that creates possibilities for printing on transparent material for backlit applications or for printing white as a spot color. It offers a solid, robust design to sustain higher workloads.
- Anapurna FB2540i LED - A moving gantry flatbed distinguishes this high-speed UV-curable inkjet system. It is designed for step-and-repeat work and multiple jobs on differently-sized media. At 2.54 meters wide, the Anapurna FB2540i LED prints several color and white ink layers in one run efficiently.
Each engine is powered by Agfa Graphics' automated Asanti workflow, which optimizes the entire printing process from beginning to end, including color management, pre-flighting and job templates.
To demonstrate the limitless creative possibilities with UV LED inkjet, Agfa Graphics will have its well-known application cubes at ISA. These two structures are designed to provide attendees with inkjet inspiration. Visitors to Sign Expo will be dazzled by the graphic authenticity of the Tattoo Cube which mirrors a real life tattoo parlor. The Historic Cube lends artistic treatment to Agfa's historical milestone achievements in the graphic arts industry with colorful and eye-popping art.
To experience the possibilities of Agfa Graphics UV LED inkjet approach, visitors are welcome to the ISA Sign Expo booth 2511 from March 22-24, 2018, at the Orange County Convention Center (South Hall) in Orlando, Fla.
Agfa Graphics will also be attending SGIA 2018 in Las Vegas this October. Be sure to check out their latest technologies at booth 1460.
