GPA announces the launch of the 2025 GPA Print & Design Contest, an industry-wide celebration of outstanding print craftsmanship, innovation, and design. This competition invites print service providers and designers to highlight their most impressive work, gain industry recognition, and compete for top honors at an Award Celebration in Orlando, Florida, during PRINTING United this fall.
With no entry fee and no limit on submissions, this contest provides a unique opportunity to showcase creative expertise while gaining industry-wide visibility. Winning entries will not only be recognized at the exclusive award ceremony in Orlando but also have the chance to be featured across GPA’s social media platforms, giving participants additional exposure. Beyond the competition itself, this event fosters a sense of community among professionals who are pushing the boundaries of print and design, creating connections that extend far beyond the contest.
Kim Hajec, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Strategy at GPA, expressed her enthusiasm for this year’s event, emphasizing its importance in an ever evolving print industry. “GPA’s customers are some of the most talented and innovative in the industry, and we’re thrilled to see the incredible work they create using our premium substrates. A panel of distinguished industry leaders and professionals will evaluate each entry based on print quality, design impact, and production execution. This year’s judges include Eric Hawkinson, Executive Director of the thINK Forum (Canon Inkjet user community) and EVP at Innovatis Group. Hawkinson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, driving strategy for the go-to-market and product marketing initiatives for the growing production inkjet market in North America; Laura Field, Global Lead for Media & Materials at HP Indigo, who brings decades of experience in substrates and print technology; and Warren Werbitt, widely known as The Print Whisperer, a seasoned industry expert dedicated to consulting and advocating for the value of print in a digital world.
Whether it's sustainable designs, digital wide-format prints, signage, or any other creation crafted on GPA’s stunning and versatile substrates, the possibilities are endless. With GPA’s expansive portfolio, innovation knows no bounds, providing a blank canvas for creativity to thrive. Plus, many projects may qualify for multiple categories, offering even more opportunities for recognition. Submissions officially open on March 1, 2025, and will be accepted until August 31, 2025. Winners will be announced during Printing United in Orlando this October. Throughout the submission period, GPA’s marketing team will highlight select entries, with permission, offering participants additional visibility.
