‘Go Further’ with Heidelberg Scalable Solutions
With the theme “Wherever you are, go further,” Heidelberg (Booth 10143) is showcasing its scalable solutions for any size business at PRINTING United. Whether expanding into new market segments — like commercial, packaging, or label — or maximizing the efficiency of your business, Heidelberg has a comprehensive portfolio of products, services, and the expertise to help you navigate it all. No matter the size of your business or your ultimate business goals, Heidelberg can help you go further.
Heidelberg’s booth will focus around a case study of a local Georgia microbrewery, Reformation Brewery, and feature an application gallery that showcases a variety of jobs all produced with a full range of Heidelberg equipment. The goal of the application gallery is to show customers that regardless of the size of your business, there are Heidelberg solutions to help you grow into new areas.
As a deep dive, Heidelberg will have a live Digital Packaging Walkthrough, where one packaging job will be produced on the three pieces of equipment in Heidelberg’s booth — from printing on the Versafire EP with Prinect DFE, to die cutting on the new Digimatrix 60 FC, to finishing on the new Diana Go 85 folder/gluer. This is an example of an entry level packaging workflow that could be implemented in smaller commercial shops. For larger shops, these solutions could be easily scalable with Heidelberg solutions for more industrial packaging printers.
Equipment and presentations
Heidelberg’s booth features the Versafire EP toner-based digital press, which runs at speeds of 135 letter pages per minute, and prints up to 13x49" sheets. Capable of printing on 24-pt. stock plus a variety of synthetics, the Versafire EP is the perfect choice for short run and variable commercial, packaging, or even label work.
Debuting at PRINTING United, the new Digimatrix 60 FC is a flexible, small format die cutter and foil stamper. With a very small footprint, the Digimatrix can process sheets up to 23.6x17.7" — perfect for finishing a variety of short run jobs.
The new Diana Go 85, a cost-effective, flexible and productive folding-gluing machine, is making its U.S. debut at PRINTING United. At just 9m long, the Diana Go can produce cartons at speeds up to 250 m/min. It can handle a variety of carton styles such as straightline and lockbottom, as well as optional special styles such as envelopes, or even presentation folders.
Additionally, there will be demonstrations of Heidelberg’s Prinect Production and Business Manager. Prinect Production Manager automates production as well as color and quality management, and provides important data for analyses and reporting. This all-inclusive package includes a full production workflow for an unlimited number of seats — all for a simple monthly fee. Prinect Business Manager is a comprehensive MIS that contains everything needed to manage commercial processes — integrating business processes, production, analyses, and customers.
Heidelberg is also showcasing its Lifecycle Solution products with demonstrations of Heidelberg’s online portals, including the eShop and Heidelberg Assistant. Participate in the “Know Your Numbers” game to see how well you understand your production numbers, and compare them to industry standards. Heidelberg will be giving away prizes to those who register for eShop and Heidelberg Assistant, or who participate in “Know Your Numbers.”
Throughout the show, Heidelberg will have presentations on their main stage focusing on scalable solutions for all parts of your business in addition to a live, remote video demonstrations from Heidelberg’s Print Media Center in Atlanta.
