GMG, the developer behind a suite of color management and proofing tools for packaging and label printers, is excited to participate in another year at Wide-Format Summit 2023.
The event focused on the wide-format printing industry, takes place July 24-26 at PGA National Resort, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, USA. Showcasing the latest technologies in wide-format printing, the event welcomes aspiring talent from across the North American continent to shape and guide future investment strategies.
At Wide-Format Summit 2023, GMG is putting its ‘ecosystem’ of solutions in the spotlight, including GMG ColorServer, GMG OpenColor and GMG SmartProfiler. The term describes GMG’s range of proofing and color management tools that can be used individually but are also designed to work in harmony for a more cohesive prepress workflow.
At the event, the GMG team will be speaking to delegates about how integrated prepress tools for profiling, calibrating and converting, set the stage for print excellence while also supporting business-wide sustainability.
Rick Guebert, director of Sales, Southern Region, at GMG, explains, “As a pre-qualified and invitation-only event, Wide-Format Summit is extremely focused. As print margins are squeezed around the globe, delegates are looking for meaningful innovation that adds value to their wide format print workflows, and that’s exactly what we deliver."
“There’s a good reason that GMG products are trusted by printers and packaging converters around the world. At the event, we intend to inspire and, to do that. We’ll be showing delegates how to take their next step in color conversion excellence and apply these systems in synergy for supercharged prepress.”
Each year, the Wide-Format Summit is well represented in terms of print disciplines, attracting visitors dealing in textile, flatbed and roll-to-roll printing. Alongside an engaging schedule of talks and presentations, visitors will be able to connect with the GMG team to talk all things prepress, proofing and color management.
Guebert adds, “Today’s wide-format print industry is moving fast and it’s clear that if printers focus on their prepress processes and take time to calibrate and perfect color outputs early on, they can attract considerable competitive advantage in print. While waste and costs are both under the microscope, there’s simply no margin for error. So, when it comes to printing, a stunning end result needs a strong start – and that’s where the GMG range of tools comes into its own. Our technology is forever evolving and at Wide-Format Summit, we’ll be connecting with printers and converters ready to boost their quality and operational performance.”
