GMG Color, the developer behind a suite of market-leading color management tools, will be presenting a case study at the upcoming Wide-Format Summit event, July 25-27, 2022, taking the opportunity to share its color expertise with fellow delegates.
The summit, at PGA National Resort, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, is an invitational event that brings together some of the most talented minds and industrious businesses in the wide-format print sector. Punctuated with expert-led talks and seminars, the event aims to broaden the industry’s horizons and point toward where future technologies might take the wide-format print category next.
As brands the world over seek to reduce waste through the print supply chain, color proofing, including the software developed by GMG, takes on a new proactive role in reducing the risk of errors and making consumables inventory work harder.
To share real-world examples of technological success, GMG Color has been invited to present a case study of its partnership with leading bespoke corrugate display and packaging product manufacturer, Dusobox.
Rick Guebert, director of sales, Southern Region, at GMG Color, explained the importance: “We are delighted to attend the Wide-Format Summit 2022, and particularly to share an example of our success. As an invitatation-only event, the summit is always widely represented in terms of print disciplines, attracting visitors dealing in textile, flatbed and roll-to-roll printing. For our part, we want to share our own outlook on why advancement in color management is so vital to successful wide format printing and one of the best ways we can do that is with a true working example that gives key decision makers valuable insight into why we do what we do."
“As well as presenting at the event, our team is currently making ourselves available to meet delegates at the Wide-Format Summit to discuss their upcoming projects, and we are set for some fantastic discussions. We all know color is important – that’s certainly not news to printers, but the ways in which the technology is evolving could prove extremely illuminating for many across the supply chain. Meeting with our print industry colleagues, we’ll be sharing details of our own product range. Excellence in color starts with excellence in proofing, and the GMG Color range, color precision, and management technologies are widely considered the gold standard. This is another opportunity to demonstrate why that is – and what’s next.”
