Following the tremendous response to its revolutionary Linerless two mil. Polypropylene (BOPP) overlaminate for short-term wide-format graphics, Gfp just added a polyester version to accommodate more demanding long-term graphics.
The new line of Janus Linerless film, including the latest - one mil Janus Polyester (PET) - will launch at PRINTING United in Dallas, Oct. 23-25.
Like Janus BOPP film, Janus Polyester (PET) is linerless which makes it eco-friendly, quieter during production, twice the speed, half the cost and 40% of the shipping weight of traditional PSA films… but with 5-year durability for long-term applications like outdoor signage, vinyl lettering and stickers.
“It’s what our customers are asking for,” says Rob Acker of Graphic Finishing Partners. “It gives the shops who also produce long-term wide format graphics the same lower cost and production benefits, but with the longevity factor needed to protect images in tougher environments.”
Janus Polyester (PET) is also a great solution for shops that want to reduce film inventory. It will give them the flexibility to produce both short- and long-term signs and point-of-purchase with one durable 5-year film at significant cost savings. Both Janus films are available in gloss or matte finish.
