Full-Service Marketing Agency is the First in British Columbia to Acquire Konica Minolta’s EFI H1625 LED UV
Konica Minolta Business Solutions Ltd. is pleased to announce its partnership with the Kelowna-based marketing agency Csek Creative Inc. Konica Minolta will be providing Csek’s newest division – Csek Print and Signage – with powerful and innovative print technology, including its AccurioPress C6085 Digital Colour Press and EFI H1625 Wide Format printer.
Founded in 1999, Csek Creative Inc. is an industry leader in marketing, media and storytelling. The company recently made the decision to expand its service offerings through a half million-dollar investment in a new 4,750 square foot print facility in the Kelowna area. The new division which will occupy this facility, Csek Print and Signage, will be home to new, industry-leading equipment which will allow Csek to offer a range of print services to current and prospective customers.
“Equipped with our state-of-the-art technology, Csek Creative is poised to bring immense new value to their customers,” says Chris Dewart, president and CEO, Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Canada) Ltd. “Our AccurioPress C6085 model is perfectly positioned to deliver best in class print quality with unique finishing options, while our wide format EFI H1625 – the first installed in BC – will allow Csek Creative to expand their burgeoning signage business. Csek Creative’s commitment to delivering an expanded portfolio of services to their customers is commendable, and we’re delighted to call them a partner of Konica Minolta.”
Csek Creative Print and Signage has invested in two Konica Minolta technologies. The first, the AccurioPress C6085 Digital Colour Press, delivers industry-leading productivity and print quality and can run 13 x 19 sheet sizes and up to 400 gsm weights, the thickest paper in its class. The second technology, the EFI H1625 Wide Format printer, offers 4-colour (plus white) flatbed printing on flexible and rigid substrates up to 65” wide and 2” thick. This system will be the first of its kind in the Okanagan Valley, offering best in class quality and production time frames that are up to 3 times faster than the standard technology used in most sign shops today.
"Over the past few years we’ve seen a real shift in printing. Clients are moving away from printing large runs towards smaller, more targeted print solutions. Equipped with Konica Minolta technology and our new facility we’ll be able to deliver customized print solutions without having to go out of market,” says Rob Cupello, partner at Csek Creative. “We are really excited about the new EFI flatbed with LED technology, which will allow us to print on almost any material in a timely and efficient manner. The flatbed can print on almost anything, including doors, glass, promotional items like hockey pucks, vinyl and traditional real estate signs. Add to this our new AccurioPress which will allow for printing of heavier stock business cards, rack cards, door hangers and magazines. We want to offer clients a print experience like they haven’t experienced before in this market.”
