Bob Burnmaster retired from the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel with more than 22 years of service in Special Forces. “I was deeply involved in strategy and organization which has helped me understand and work with clients on marketing strategies that advance their businesses and reach their goals,” he says. He earned both his undergraduate degree in Applied Science and an Executive MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology. We wanted to learn how special forces drove Burnmaster to own Image360 of Ybor City, FL. He was gung-ho to tell us.
Q: Where is Ybor City, FL
Burnmaster: Ybor City is a historic neighborhood northeast of downtown Tampa.
Q: How did you get involved with Image360?
Burnmaster: In 2005 I founded Graphics Edge, an independent signage and graphics company. Several years ago I received an email newsletter from Image360. I was impressed with its content and graphics. Later I visited their website, and again I was impressed with how they presented the information and portrayed the company. We were producing quality work, but I couldn’t go after the larger clients and grow the company as an independent. Image360 had the brand recognition, the marketing programs and the business-building resources that we couldn’t duplicate on our own. Plus, they offered great support. We converted the business to Image360 this past May 1st and hosted an Open House June 21.
Q: How has your business changed with the conversion?
Burnmaster: I call it the Full-Circle Signage and Graphics Revolution. Now we’re the one expert resource for everything related to signage and graphics, from every angle — product line, customer service, top quality and one-stop strategic solutions. We’re also building partnerships with clients. We’re not just one and done; we’re consulting with them on their needs. For example, they may say they want a banner, but what they need is a display.
Q: What do you like best about Image360?
Burnmaster: Of course, consulting with clients and the support we’ve received. Everyone understands what goes on at the Centers. There are no stove pipes — everyone willingly shares information across the board. And when you call, they know what you need.
Q: What advice would you offer someone who is interested in joining Image360?
Burnmaster: To be successful you truly need to meet and work with clients to build relationships, to consult on their needs and to
be part of their whole graphics program. Also, take advantage of the available Image360
marketing programs.
