Foster Introduces New Power Jumbo Lifter at SGIA
At SGIA, Foster (Booth 3527) is introducing their On-a-Roll Lifter Power Jumbo — the latest in the company’s line of roll lifting carts. Foster lifters are must-have accessories for anyone handling roll media in conjunction with wide-format printers, fabric printers or flooring. The Foster Power Jumbo is an electric version of the popular Foster On-a-Roll Lifter Jumbo — a manually operated lifter specifically designed for use with EFI and VUTEk wide-format and superwide printers, as well as EFI Reggiani textile printers — but also suitable for a variety of similar roll-fed printers in the marketplace. With the Foster Power Jumbo, a single printer operator or shop floor attendant can quickly and safely maneuver rolls as heavy as 990 lbs (450 kg) and with roll diameters as great as 19.6 inches (50 cm). The Foster Power Jumbo lifter has a roll tray that facilitates loading and unloading, as well as transporting, rolls.
Announcing the lifter, Foster CEO Ted Borowsky says, “Large media rolls such as those used by EFI printers are extremely difficult for operators to handle in the typical print shop, converter or packaging firm. The new Foster On-a-Roll Lifter Jumbo permits operators to quickly and easily load and unload printers, as well as maneuver heavy rolls in the warehouse and on the shop floor. The Foster Jumbo lifter is available from Foster dealers around the world.”
