Flyerline Schweiz AG has signed a deal with HP Inc. to install a new HP Latex 2700 printer series. With this new printer, Flyerline, is expanding its already large fleet of HP digital presses, which include Latex Citex printers and two HP Indigo 100Ks that will be upgraded to HP Indigo 120K Digital Presses.
Through the expansion of its existing HP Latex 2700 printer series, Flyerline has been prioritizing its sustainability efforts, expressing its intention to print PVC banners. The new HP Latex 2700 printer series will provide Flyerline with faster production services and a wider range of colors. The evolution of this strategic collaboration was supported by IGEPA ADOC, HP Large Format’s long-term partner, who helped finalize this portfolio expansion.
Steffen Tomasi, CEO of Flyerline, stated, “Through this expansion of our entire HP portfolio, we’re looking forward to increased productivity, efficiency and stability in comparison to previous presses, while expanding our already large banner offering across all markets. The new HP Latex 2700 printer allows us to expand our production capabilities and provides a greater variety of design options. This is why we have chosen to invest in an additional HP Latex 2700 printer to add to our existing fleet of HP digital presses.”
Michael Boyle, Global Head of HP Large Format Go-to-Market, stated, “This expansion across the HP Large Format and Industrial portfolio highlights how HP is continuing to redefine its portfolio. By adding the new Latex 2700 printer to its HP digital printers installed base, Flyerline is expanding its capabilities with more stunning applications whilst having greater affordability for longer runs with the new 10-liter expansion kit recently announced at Drupa 2024.”
This announcement follows the news earlier this week at drupa that Flyerline is also expanding, through HP’s channel partner Chromos Group AG, its wider HP portfolio with the acquisition of another HP Indigo 100K Digital Press. This will be upgraded alongside its existing HP Indigo 100K Digital Press to two HP Indigo 120K Digital Presses. Since installing its first HP Indigo 100K in 2021, the goal for Flyerline was to have a fully digital production floor. Now, the leading Swiss online printing company welcomes a full set of HP digital printers covering large format and industrial segments.
Elsewhere, the HP PrintOS software enables both industrial and large-format printers and allows Flyerline to have enhanced control over its production floor, through a fully digital production workflow, removing the need for human interaction. HP PrintOS streamlines each print job with auto-scheduling, colour consistency and optimal productivity.
The installation of the new digital press will be complete during drupa 2024 tradeshow, located at the Flyerline Switzerland site.
